SUPPORT DICTIONARY
VPN Help Center
Topic-by-topic guidance for account, connection, route and billing issues. Start by identifying the symptom, then check your account status, client configuration and current route in order.
INDEX NOTE
Find answers by where the issue occurs
Sign-in, sign-up, subscription imports and device changes belong under Account & Subscriptions. Client connection failures, apps not using accelerated routes and empty configuration lists belong under Connections & Troubleshooting. Peak-hour performance, region selection and route metrics belong under Speeds & Routes. Prices, data resets, payments and refunds belong under Billing & Refunds.
Change one condition at a time when troubleshooting. For example, keep the client and device unchanged and switch only the route first. After confirming the route difference, check rule mode or system network settings. This makes it easier to tell whether the issue comes from the account, configuration, local network or target service.
Account & Subscriptions
Sign-up, subscription access, configuration updates and device changes.
What do I need to sign up for LrVPN?
No email address is required—sign up with a username and password. Choose a username that is easy for you to recognize and not shared with another public account, and store your password separately. After signing up, choose a monthly subscription or data package from the user panel. Once it is active, open the download area to get the LrVPN client and subscription.
Where can I get my subscription after payment?
Once your plan is active, sign in to the user panel and open the download area to get the LrVPN client and the subscription linked to your account. Your subscription is an account credential, so do not post it on public websites, chat groups or shared documents. Keep access to the user panel after importing it into your client, as you will need it for future route updates.
How do I update the subscription link?
First confirm in the user panel that your plan is still active, then return to the client and update the subscription or refresh the configuration. If the client has retained an old cache, delete the old configuration and import the current subscription again. Avoid repeatedly creating configurations with the same name, so you do not select an outdated copy by mistake.
Do I need to pay again after changing devices?
No. Changing devices does not require another purchase, and LrVPN supports unlimited devices. Sign in to the same account on Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux, then get the relevant client and subscription from the user panel. When retiring an old device, also delete any saved subscription information from it.
Connections & Troubleshooting
Work through app routing, client status, system networking and subscription cache one step at a time.
Why isn't a particular app using the accelerated route?
Check whether the client is using rule mode or global mode, and make sure the target app is not on a direct-connection or exclusion list. Then fully quit and reopen the app so its new connection follows the current rules. If only that app is affected, temporarily switch routes to determine whether the issue comes from routing rules or route compatibility.
How should I troubleshoot a client connection failure?
Update the subscription and switch to another route first to rule out a temporary issue with one route. Then confirm that system time is set to sync automatically and that the client has the network permissions it needs. If other proxy, filtering or secure-connection tools are running on the device, quit conflicting programs before reconnecting.
What should I do if it says connected but websites still won't open?
Disconnect first, disable any extra proxy extensions in the browser, then reconnect and open a new browser window. If no apps can access the internet, restore the system network settings to automatic configuration and restart the client. If only a specific website is affected, test again with a route that matches the service's regional requirements.
Why can't I see any routes after importing the subscription?
Confirm that you imported the complete subscription currently shown in the user panel, rather than text truncated during copying. Then update the subscription in the client and check that the current configuration is enabled. If the list is still empty, delete the configuration and copy and import it again from the user panel instead of reusing a damaged local cache.
Speeds & Routes
Assess route location, target service, latency and sustained transfer performance separately.
What can I do about video buffering during peak hours?
Prioritize a geographically closer region with a more direct route, update the subscription in the client, and test again. Do not judge speed by the region name alone; the same destination may have different route types. Before playback, close background sync, cloud-drive transfers and system updates to reduce local bandwidth competition.
How should I choose routes for everyday browsing, AI Tools and Streaming?
For everyday browsing, start with a nearby route and watch for stable page response. When using AI Tools, choose a region supported by the service and keep the exit region consistent within the same session where possible. For Streaming, consider both the content region and the account region, and avoid switching regions frequently.
Does lower latency always mean faster downloads?
Not necessarily. Latency mainly reflects the round-trip time for a request, affecting page response, interaction and real-time connections. Sustained downloads and video playback are also affected by route bandwidth, your local network, service-side speed limits and peak-hour congestion. Test routes for your actual use case instead of ranking them by a single status number.
How extensive is LrVPN's route coverage?
LrVPN provides 90+ countries / 200+ routes. The route index is organized by region to help narrow your choices before connecting. In practice, choose a route based on the target service's region, your local network path and your use case. If a route changes in performance, update the subscription and test another route in the same region.
Billing & Refunds
Monthly subscriptions, data packages, reset rules, payment methods and refund requests.
Which monthly subscription tiers are available?
Monthly subscriptions: ¥9.9/month includes 60GB · ¥18/month includes 250GB · ¥28/month includes 500GB. Choose based on your typical monthly usage—web browsing, app connections, video playback and file transfers all consume data. Every tier can be viewed and started from the Plans area of the user panel.
Do data packages expire?
Data packages (use until depleted, never expire): ¥158/300GB · ¥358/1000GB · ¥658/3000GB. They suit users with variable usage who prefer to pay according to actual consumption. Before purchasing, distinguish data packages from monthly subscriptions and choose the type that matches your usage pattern.
When does monthly subscription data reset, and how is a mid-cycle upgrade calculated?
Data resets monthly on the activation date, and the price difference for a mid-cycle upgrade is prorated over the remaining days. Use the actual activation date as the reset date rather than estimating from the calendar month. Before upgrading, check the current plan and remaining balance in the user panel, then choose a new monthly tier.
Which payment methods are supported?
LrVPN supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Available methods are determined by the options shown on the user panel's checkout page. Keep the relevant order record after payment and return to the user panel to confirm the plan status; do not treat a payment-app notification as a substitute for the order result on the site.
How do I request a refund?
LrVPN offers 7-day refunds for any reason. To request one, sign in to the user panel, submit a refund request through the ticket portal, and include the relevant order details and a brief explanation. Do not delete the order record from your account before submitting, so it can be verified. You can also review the refund policy for the applicable scope and criteria.
