RESULT NOTES
What This Information Means
These results describe the public information shown to this site’s API when your request leaves the network. Use them to confirm whether a route has changed, whether the location matches expectations, and whether the connection still exits directly through the original network.
IP
Public Address
Your public IP is the network address visible to external websites. Run the lookup again after switching routes to compare the address and location. A changed address only confirms that the exit point changed; it does not by itself indicate connection quality or privacy protection.
GEO
Country or Region
Location data comes from a GeoIP database compiled from address registration and network routing information. Because databases may lag behind current changes, the result may not exactly match the physical location of the exit facility. Consider it alongside the selected route name.
ISP
ISP
The ISP field generally shows the network operator or autonomous system associated with the address. It can help indicate whether the connection uses a local network, a data-center exit, or another network type, though databases may use different names.
PROXY
Proxy Detection
Proxy status is an address-based signal returned by the API, not a security verdict. Data-center addresses may be flagged, while some proxy addresses may not yet appear in the database. Read this field together with the public IP, location, and actual connection status.
